Love-Crossed Stars

Love-Crossed Stars

A Poem by DaughterNature

As night doth fall all over heaven’s sphere,

I shine so bright within the darkened sky;

my glow attracts your celestial eye.

And yet, though similarities draw near,

a chasm filled with differences lies here

to separate your golden shine from mine.

And we, in reasonable acts divine,

such manners keep, and formally stay clear.

Solution, remedy I do suggest

to bring together our fine stellar nest:

two points of light are we in orbit round

quite lost, ‘til each the other hath in found

a solar solace, comfort, starry love;

a romance formed in heavenly above.
