Awesome ghost story...your poetry by itself is always at a incredibly high standard, as a performance piece its just riveting. I hope someone, somewhere besides here shows some sort of appreciation, if not remuneration, for the incredible work that you do. You are one of the writers on this site that I can honestly say has both talent and is already of professional quality.

The Thames is as beautiful as it is unforgiving. Your timing is impeccable, the imagery is stunning. The rhyming words well, and although I write it from time to time, I'm not necessarily a fan. This may well change that. Well done!

I read this a few months back when working thru your work, (probably on PoemHunter closed my acct there since). Anyway, I don't have a review on this site so I would like to put out there that I consider this one of the best poems that I have ever read. Sensation story written in the invariable pefect Paget style.

Wow... a chilling tale to say the least. But it is totally enthralling and well spoken and written. I quite enjoyed this piece Mr. Paget. I have never been able to read one of my poems out loud as I can never determine what kind of voice it needs. You have no problems there. Wonderful voice and Wonderful Poem. Thanks for sharing

Wow! This was recommended to me and this write is excellent. There's so much talent and I don't always like spoken poetry... in this case I did. It leaves no room to wonder of the rhythm that was heard by the writer. Which otherwise can be confusing, this is a piece I admire. Thank you for sharing.

Your a great story teller. I can hear the joy hidden in a smirky grin as you read the tale. Love can never be stolen and deeds will never stay buried.
Loved hearing you read this poem David. This was a real treat.
