Arsonist's Pyre

Arsonist's Pyre

A Poem by DearSweetAgony

Ignite a pain driven within me,

To light a hellfire that burns so fiercely.

The fire in my eyes will never die out.

An arsonist dream,a burning hatred.

In the darkess corners of my mind,

A dark fire lingers.

Watching,

waiting,

patiently,

a dying hellfire come to life.

My flames of pure anger,

my lover,my dancer

my hellfire

burning me alive.

This poem actually helps me understand a little better why people commit arson. It's interesting, just to feel the heat and let out some raw emotion. Good poem.

This reminds me of my friend, who's a pyromaniac. Really great job on this. I love the sentences "ignite a pain driven within me" and "my flames of pure anger." I still can't believe you're only 13.

Good God, a very fiery and rageful piece; I applaud your nice job. Familiarity with these feelings drew me to the poem just by its title, but the poem itself was simply wonderful. The lovely hate in the back of our minds, burning black and waiting to boil deep with fury and be unleashed. An excellent piece... I enjoyed it.
