Soul Sublime

Soul Sublime

A Poem by Debra Stevens Edwards (debby)
"

A time and place long ago and far from here.

"

              Soul Sublime

Visions and memories so sublime

From some other place and time.

Lost in a moment, love once shared

Where strong hearts, youth declared

We will be together as we are one

We will now until our lives are done.

You can’t tell us it is not true and real

How do you know what it is we feel?

My soul is entwined inside you and I

And alone at night I still wonder why.

I chose to weep these lonely bitter tears

The nightmares of our children the fears

Still love has survived though all this time

We have survived with our Souls Sublime.
