A Story by Decidious wind

I've imagined river as a female. If river were a female then what would she be like? Her personality? Her quirks? Enjoy!

River. She was intensely bi-polar. There were days where she was as raphsodic as the luminous night-sky. Yet,she went through periods where she was as miserable as the winter sky.

Her colorful rejoice flourished the soils of souls. Until, flowers appeared on their surface. River, nourished the lives of everybody and everything.

However, she often had mood swings. And with every swing, she exerted vast evil. Her malevolent nature… spared nobody. She drowned all who crossed her path ; without any exceptions. Heartless! The flowers that had been irrigated by her kindness, were the same flowers which she sliced, merclissely, into bits and pieces and she watched them as they bled fountains of blood…and she didn’t even offer a helping hand.suffocation! Burning! Pain! Don’t even begin to describe the extent of River’s cruelty towards the helpless creatures who relied on her.

Strangely, after her inner storms would settle down… she would blossom into a prismatic, young lady. And again; her laughter released immense bright energy which diffracted far beyond the heavens.

I always wondered… how could one be so very vicious, yet so very benevolent at the same time? No matter how hard I tried to understand her,I was always left even more confused and with more questions than I began with. She broke all laws of existence. River was unique. But I cannot be certain whether she was different in a positive way, or in a negative way.

Her soul was overwhelmed by the power of the overflowing currents. I guess, she just wasn’t able to control the imbalance of her turbulent emotions. She got carried away. Letting the turbulence control her. Let it swim her away into oblivion. She didn’t know whether she was happy or unhappy, half the time. However, there was one thing I knew for certain the minute that I lay eyes on her… the minute that my eyes fell under her beautiful spell and I also became her victim. There was nobody like her, ever! And there will never be anybody like her, ever!
