Winterland

Winterland

A Poem by Dee

Each snowflake is a jewel
Sparkling, and cool
Swirling, and dancing in the wind
Touching noses, and chins

A stillness of nature
A hush in the air
Nothing heard, but the crisp sound
Of shoes on snowy ground

Trees, and rooftops draped in white
A sleigh ride to see this most glorious sight
Please may it be soon
For here to be a winterland too.
