A Light In The Dark

Like the moon up in the skies,

You shine up my darkest nights,

But when you shy away and hide your smile,

I stand in the darkness, all alone and fragile,

I want to howl and growl for you,

To sing heartfelt songs just to you,

But I’m scared even in the dark of the night,

Someone will hear me while sitting tight,

They cover my eyes,

But I can still feel your light,

You are the brightest moon,

In the dark shallows of my heart.
