war

war

A Poem by Absentee Reality Check

War

War plants pain

To grow into death

To breed like rabbits

Into hate

War grows tears

And harvests sorrow

To create a crop

Of marble hearts

War sprouts steely eyed stares

And bloody hands

To be recycled like a water bottle

For the next one

War should just be a question

Never the answer.
