Watch out for the Lamb

nothing is as it seems, at least not all the time.

the rattle snake gave a viper's smile to the lamb

forgetting that sometimes

 a wolf lived behind those eyes

 

run little rabbit run

Icarus' wings can't meet the sun

fly little birdie fly

escape amidst the hue and cry

if you should stay and fight

to clip your wings and lose your flight

flip black and white

Sometimes the rattle is a viper, and sometimes the lamb is a wolf. "a wolf lived behind those eyes"-those are the two things I will consider most when picking contest (The Other Shop) winners.
