You're not at the park
Where you caught my floating scarf
The heart grows fonder

Not by my window
Where you watched me sleep at night
Fragments of a song

Twirling my dark hair
A graceful waltz along my nose
My secret to hold

No longer magic
As time flies I forget you
You; delicate rose

You're not in my hair
Or by my moms travel bags

Author's Note

Two more haikus to go! Then I'm ' packing my bags ' for the day, so to speak. I've got Journalism in an hour or two. Starving and my mind is racing with ideas for pieces. I'm trying to think of two romantic ideas but I'm hitting a dead end. I had one but I think it's too.... common. I hate the word cliche. I'd usually write about myself but I have no romantic history whatsoever. Why?

I'm quite frankly an introvert. Go figure.

I was thinking about Peter Pan (:P) and I decided to write about childhood innocence.. IN THE FORM OF A FAIRY. Who didn't love fairies?

(Me. :P I never did like Tinkerbell.. or Cinderella for that matter. My mom really wasn't the fairytale type. :P I was outside, in the dirt, playing with critters of all sorts.)

Ah.. memories.

Yes, I chose to use ' Where The Wild Things Are' It's only fitting. :)
