Like a Robert Frost Poem: Buried

Like a Robert Frost Poem: Buried

A Poem by Succubi
"

For the past week. Our state has faced a HUGE wave of snowstorms. back 2 back. So I have been snowed in & from looking at the IMMENSE amount of snow and so ive been given some inspiration.

"

Deep in the frozen mire.

A town without a name.

Buried in the endless white.

Finally earns it fame.

Where the gales of summer blow.

You can feel the frost stinging

Like the touch of Hell's fires.

As heaven's bells dare to be ringing.

In whirlpools, the frozen current rapidly rushes

As the eye of the hurricane slowly proceeds

To make its way through, scaling its own damage

Ninety feet of uncharted ice and snow...

The debris, marked by the steady tornado

Of winter's unexpected gripping hold.

Is no where to be found, as everything...

Homes, broken bones, and souls lay silent...

As the storm proceeds into the night's darkness.
