Would You Be So Kind?

Through irony, I hope to capture the essence of inspiration.

I know this seems like a lot to ask, but would you inspire me?


Place beauty in my mind from your heart.

Your exotic red hair,

The freckles on your face that remind me of the heavens

And when I kiss your cheek, it's like kissing the night sky.

Oh, how it would feel to brush my lips against the stars!
 

Dear girl, would you care to inspire me?

Inspire me to write of love,  paint epiphanies, draw lust

With the ocean green of your eyes-

The gateway to your sweet soul,

Sweet angel.

 

Time has passed between us, yet there is something I need.

Take me to the place of your beauty.

Take me to a place where ideas of evanescent smoke turn to palpable crystals.

A place where emotions fall like rain, drenching my body, running off my pen and fingertips-

And creative arousal lights my mind in flashes of lightning.
