No More

You see me as this outsider
Like I’m some stranger,
But I’m like you
Or I thought I was.
You call me names
And always compare me
To someone better.
Do you hate me?
Is that why
You hurt me?
I see the hatred
In your eyes
But do you see the hurt
In mine?
Like some perfect
Imperfect child.
But I’m not a child.
Your hate makes me old
And wiser then you know.
It also shatters me
And makes me weak.
My defences crashing down
And my bravery vanishing.
I am not you,
And never will be.
You have to see that
Oh why cant you see that?
You were my friend,
Someone I could count on.
But not anymore.
Always judging me,
Not caring if it hurts.
Insults come out of your mouth
Like a lullaby.
How deeply you wound
A hollow heart.
No blood is shed
For it is all gone.
No more I bleed,
And no more I care.
Why don’t you just end it?
It would make you happy
And I’ll finally be free.
