The Tears


The waves crashing
The water darkening
The lightning flashing
And the thunder clashing
The storm was coming
You could tell
By the gloomy sky
That’s always so bright
You could tell by the way
The wind picks up
And the people run
Running from the rain
The stinging water
But give it a chance
It does not sting
So you’re not used to the rain
But it’s soothing
Washing up the oceans misery
It’s loud and pretty cold
So put on something warm
And step into
The clouds tears.
