Waiting Among Forgotten Souls

Waiting Among Forgotten Souls

A Poem by Devi DM

Oh wonder of the Supreme
Oh mischievous Creator.
Nothing here is what it seems
Is it your plays and schemes,
I can't bear it any longer.
Tell me what you forsee,
How long will i be waiting?
To be where you be...

Oh wind and breeze
Will you carry me where i need to be?
Dear sun and moon
Will life not pass soon?
These earthly beings are like forgotten souls
And i amongst them crying in the cold
Till i'm free again back home...

Oh master of the universe
Oh maker of the heart.
Is there nothing more worse
Than to be so far apart
Yearning to hear you in song and verse.
So tell me how long is this life lasting?
Till i can once again be immersed
In you, the ever lasting...

Oh air and earth
Will you take my soul to it's place of birth?
Dear stars at night among the blue moon
Will you not pass on my message in heavenly tunes?
These earthly beings are like forgotten souls
And i amongst them crying in the cold
Till i'm free again back home...

Oh dear life behold
The place you keep my soul,
Just to make me call out from hold
To find the truth untold,
When the supreme magician who hides from me will unfold...
