Life Is like a Tunnel

you don't know when it will end

It always curves

And always bends

Every step you take

The funnel gets shorter

You don't want to go on

But it's only the 1st quarter

Maybe it gets easier

Or the Tunnel gets wide

Maybe you gain friends

who will stand at your side

Friends make up life

But life isn't fair

Some will drift away

And some won't even care

But if you ever need a friend

Because friends are key

Stop walking this Tunnel alone

Instead, come walk with me

Made me remember walking through a tunnel that went through a mountain, probably about 2 or 3 miles long. Ventilation had been installed, but the air was still so heavy. I felt incredibly nervous the whole time, and the cars zipping past didn't make it any easier. Fortunately I had a friend, and since we could talk the whole time, it made it much easier than it would have been alone.
