Her Room

Her Room

A Poem by Dhes

The morning draw nearer.
Darkness vanished as light shone,
All over her face, body, and soul.
Lying still on the soft mattress.

Soon she stood in serene.
Across the fragile glass she saw,
The epitome of pain and sorrow.
Yet waiting for the love she once knew.

As the curtains unveiled reality,
Dulcet noises startled her ears
Enthralled by the finest things around.
She left woe and smiled again.
