The Crumbled Storm

The Crumbled Storm

A Poem by DiamondNRough AKA Patty Rase Hopson

As God Holds us not only by hand
he walks us through the storm
with ease,When barriers are placed
not according to GODS Grace.

God opens his arms and carries
us on top of the stormy wave.

With Gods love and protection
he places us on higher grounds
were we stay dry
and watch the storm move on by.

Then far away, beyond our view
the storm just crumbles away.

This is very sweet. Very peaceful.

I think it is very interesting that you used the four line stanzas broken up by the two line stanzas. Even more intriguing that you did not rhyme the two lines like a couplet. Are the second lines of each two line stanza supposed to rhyme? ("wave" and "away") That works very well, intentional or not.

More to this poem than meets the eye. :)
