MISS YOU What Else Am I To Do?

MISS YOU What Else Am I To Do?

A Poem by DiamondNRough AKA Patty Rase Hopson

TWENTY-FOUR hours without you.

What I am I suppose to do?

I broke out in sweats,

my heart didn't rest.

Our relationhip has grown

day after day, to me

we had a scheduled routine.

Imagine twenty-four hours without you,

what else was I to do?

I made my phone calls,

to my local PD.

Now they are back on their

2 hour routine,

watching my house making sure

my online predator is not seen

preying in person on my children and me.

Twenty-four hours, tell me

Do really think I missed you?

but I read also sadness in this. sarcasm is a way how to deal with sadness, isn't it.... a way.. I thought, how such a life might be.. when PD would watch my house.. or would one raise into the situation of their watching? well done !
