I will not wait for you.

I will not wait for you.

A Poem by Dianne S Penfold

I will not wait for you, for my soul lingers into dawn's glowing light,

the call of the dewy morning oh so bright,

I will not wait for you as shadows call my name, i wont let them fade ... serenity's perfect shade, dark gray.

The midnight blue moon stands oh so still, peering into my window, sitting upon the sill..

As peaceful dreams await my hand

and captures my enchanted heart.. I am charmed.

Warm summer night winds elope with my mind..

I will not wait for you.

Listen to the melody as silver sticks hollow, chimes

the dim light reminds... this is only for a time.

and goodbyes hold on to my wrist and refuses to let go..

longing brown eyes stare.... I must let go. Surreal illusions awaits...

I cannot carry you

into fantasies untrue and beautiful deceiving lies that blinds one's eyes...

So I will not wait for you...
