The sunlight far off..

The sunlight far off..

A Poem by Dinesh Sairam
"

The seasons drifting over trees..

"
Sitting silent so
Inside the womb of winter
Leafless curse of fall
A promise of faith at spring
Trees stare at sunlight far off.

short, sweet and real beautiful. i've said this before and i'll say it again, you sure know how to write great poems which are short. i find myself far too caught up in everything to ever shrink any of my poems down to that size. this is really nice work man.

"A promise of faith at spring
Trees stare the sunlight far away."
amazing words, man

Wise trees, knowing to wait for the sun, we can learn so much from trees.

I love short, pithy poetry that has depth of meaning...it seems to be worth so much when you say a great deal in very few words. fantastic.

A beautiful, imaginative piece of writing. I have yet to try this form. I find Haiku hard enough. However, this is a lovely poetic rendition of the seasons and the alliteration transitions throughout the piece flawlessly.

Very charming poem, I love the visions it puts in my head. Leaving me peacefully to mull over the changing of seasons.
