Any other nightA Poem by Dinesh SairamOne of those nights..I've wished I could enjoy the night, and love it for the last of light it's retained of the day. I've looked at it, but for that stare, nor sleeping earth and sweeping air, nor speaking trees can lay my heart out, my silent heart out. The wanderers have gone about: No one shall embark this path, while through the deeper dark they leave behind a man who might make something of this night. © 2012 Dinesh SairamAuthor's Note
