Loves Victim

Have you ever been in love?

Have you ever woken up from a nightmare?

It´s alright to fall...

to fall victim to one you loved.

To have looked at them with the wings of an angel,

then to only wake up once hit with the sand.

For everyone has fallen victim to this.

I know I have...

We all fall before those we think are great,

then to only wake and see what we have done for them.

We would have given them anything,

but they used us...

they manipulated us...

and we loved them...

for we could not see.

When we see the angel we loved become twisted,

we stand and try to back away.

Then they look at you with hatred, 

as if you´re the one who hurt them.

You had followed them for so long,

under their control.

We have regained our control,

we released ourselves from the spell.

Now,they try to hurt you to put you back under.

I have risen though,

I have walked away,

and I will never return.

You say you don´t want me anymore,

that´s fine...

I don´t want you either.

I will not love someone who hurt me like you did.

I will be strong...

no longer your victim of love.
