A differently abled manA Poem by Divyansh MoroliaThis poem tells about the problems faced by a handicapped person. Some people
laugh, while others
just stare. Some may
even sympathize, but no one
actually cares. I don’t have
legs, and cant
stand stable. Yes, I am
different, but I am not disabled.
Some people
humiliate me, but no one
acts kind. I don’t have
eyes, and people
call me blind. They say -‘only eyes provide a perception’, but I have a
dream to demolish all their interpretations. I want to
read ,I want to recite, I want to
write all the famous fables. Yes ,I am
different, but I am not
disabled.
My fingers
don’t straighten, and my
elbows are bent. People call
me creapy, but I know
,I am decent. I want to be
normal, but autism
acts as a label. Yes ,I am
different, but I am not
disabled.
I am blind
,I am autistic, I look like
a tatter. People call
me fool, but how does
it matter. These odds
cant stop me, because I
know I am capable. Yes ,I am
different, but I am not
disabled……… © 2018 Divyansh MoroliaAuthor's Note
