Midnight Wake

Midnight Wake

A Story by Some Random Person.
"

I wake up around midnight and hear... hear what exactly?

"
It was around midnight and I lay asleep far off in the corner of the room. My room was small, only large enough for a queen sized bed, bookcase and keyboard can be in the room. There barely was a walk way; you couldn't get through it easily anyway. The room was messy so that my mother won't come in. My laptop sat next to me and waited for me to use it to listen to music, type on it, or what ever I wanted to do. My watch on my wrist suddenly beeped saying it was midnight, like it always does. The beep woke me suddenly, and I hurried to turn on the lights, watching for my dog, Ruby, who was currently sleeping until the lights flickered on. That's when she woke up as suddenly as I had by my watch. I looked around, trying to find something I can take up to cure my boredom, finally settling for a book. I read silently until my watch beeped five more times, signalling it being five a.m. Five A.M.! I slept for nearly 2 hours, falling asleep around 10p.m. waking around midnight! I must sleep now, and so, at 5:11, I fell asleep, ending the Midnight wake.

Be careful of your verb tenses! I'm guilty of messing them up sometimes, too.
