White Minx~Black Cotton

White Minx~Black Cotton

A Poem by Chase Dylan
"

Sapped and lauded...

"
White minx mixed murky slurps with smirks lurking perched
hurting the herded and church bells tolling
averted eyes toiling
inverted dice foiling
the soiled mirth gilded shielded and oiled with black cotton
stark forgotten autumn leaves upon him
leaves besotted with gravel pitch as larks sing to the itch of grave hymns
melded tested and coiled around heart
his tinder and match faltering
aching for false starts
minds unravels to the tempo of a mocking tart jinx
wrapped in the dark rotten of forgotten with a white minx sapped and lauded

I really enjoyed the rhyme scheme to this and the way it was formed, nicely done here!

averted eyes toiling
inverted dice foiling

Not sure why, but I really like those lines!

They are indeed whimsical blurs of phrase... Thank you, and ever so glad you enjoyed...

You are very welcome :)
There are moments in life when you just smile and reading this did that. The beat makes you bob your head to it. Anything with a good beat has my attention. Nice work man
