If you are actually emo and easily offended then please don't read this... i dont mean to offend anybody

I will be emo

Cuz you don't like me

I'll be all dark

I'll be all whiny

I will be emo

Cuz I'm not cool

You didn't let me

Sit with you

I will be emo

And now is the time

I will use big words

And write free verse

I'll write about the lonely world with my lines getting longer and longer

I'll keep on writing about a pathetic life that I made up

And eventually my poems get so long that

You possibly couldn't use that much time to read it all

And you will stop hanging out with me because i creep you out

I will eventually write a nasty poem about you

Even though it was all my fault that you didn't like me anymore

I will realize too late that my little attention stunt

Had gone too far

So I pretend to attempt suicide and write a book about it

And millions of kids will read it and do just what i did.... wait.... no thats too far

I don't like that idea... it's not me

So i'll be smart and just go scene

I feel this could describe some people perfectly, but definitely not all. Some people act depressed just to get attention and whatnot and it annoys the poop out of me, especially when they take it too far. To the people who actually feel this way, I admire you for putting up with the stereotype. But you can really tell when someone's faking... Nice write!

I'll admit I might've been a little offended at this while I was reading it.... But the last line was just hilarious and made me laugh sooo hard...
I come from the "punk/emo/scene/hipster" Social group, you see? Some people indeed act like you described.... but not everybody is that way, I hope you weren't saying that everyone who is "emo" Is like that

Absolutely not!!! But I currently live in a small town community where kids will do absolutely anything to goet more attention than the athletes or the brains. So they decide to be "emo" And this is exactly how they act.

It's funny. Our group is split up ~ Those like you described, and those that just are. My best friend tries to be in the group... I just am. You're able to tell really easily because someone who tries is all "I'm emo!" And someone who doesnt try is like "...... I hate stereotypes...."
But obviously you knew that... cause it's your poem haha sorry, excuse my rambling xD
