America:Rose

America:Rose

A Poem by Annabelle Lee
"

Some hidden meanings...

"
A dying rose just seems so dreary
With it's fading color it looks so weary
What was once a gorgeous red
Now lay in the dirt, brown and dead
And what of the pure white?
It turned yellow, doesn't look so right
Or the sweetest smelling, innocent blue?
Well that one is now real ugly too
These roses are slowly going crap
Please don't let our country go like that
