Seasons of Hurt

Seasons of Hurt

A Poem by sedona._.arizona

Love hurts, especially when you love someone who doesn't love you back.

Seasons of Hurt

Cold wind blows through the trees.
It flows through branches,
Whispering your sweet nothings.
Each time a leaf falls,
My heart breaks a little more.

I give into your deceptions,
And like the spring,
I become new again.
I prepare myself for the new you,
Only to be broken once more.

It's a vicious cycle.
You warm me up,
only to turn my heart cold.
For your seasons of love,
I can't take anymore.
