Hello America, anybody home?

In the almost inconceivable possibility that I am still alive 50 years from today, it is equally and as remotely conceivable that there will still be American Presidential elections being held.  With that in mind, it is possible that the people running for president 50 years from now might be 4 or 5 today.  I present here some possible computer generated questions for the candidates I will ask the same questions on Facebook where the same four and five year olds are right now…

1.      “Senator, back at the beginning of the 21st century, the United States was importing about 3 Billion barrels of crude oil per year and exporting ½ a  billion barrels.  Obviously, they could have managed energy consumption better, stopped exporting and imported less.”  “Do you think that that failure led to the decline of the United States and to its falling off the top ten list of economic world superpowers three years ago in 2057?”

More to come

Another great questions I thought of is:
Just how long did it take for BP to clean up the oilspill? And could have there been more done in the first few weeks? And was it a planned accident perpetrated by the American Government or not?

Of course by then the freedom we know now could be frightfully changed. Like my recent poem called " Who Knows?" Its the unknown that can be fearful.....

But this is a great concept Sean.

This is a fun idea. I always like loaded questions. I love the premise you take. Let me know when you come up with some more questions for our...56th? president. Also as someone who will most likely be alive then it is always good to hear some long term concerns amidst a climate which is focused on the short term--specifically 2, 4, 6 year clips.
