Stop Hating!

Stop Hating!

A Poem by Donna
"

Just some feelings!

"
We need to stop hating and start loving!
How could you hate someone because their skin is a different color than yours?
How could you hate someone for being gay?
I believe in God, maybe you don't.
Maybe you are rich, maybe your poor.
I have brown eyes and yours are blue.
I don't understand how anyone could hate so much for something that doesn't
affect them in any way.
We are all in this world together, and yes we are all different, but on the inside, we are the same. We have feelings, we have families, we care.
In our world, there's so much bad, we need to stop adding to it.
Lets stop hating and start loving and helping each other. We are one!
Don't we want a better world with peace? Then we have to be the ones to make it happen!

I appreciate that!
This is so very true, I wish the world would go back a few decades when there was peace and love, and burning of the bra's (LOL) such a kick back generation.

Thank you KC
the power of love is so much stronger than people realize. If we took the energy we did from hating and applied it to loving and caring for one another, people would be surprised as to how much greater of a world we'd have among us. Love this so much.

Tragically there will always be people any/everywhere who need to hate somebody or some 'makes' of people. Judging others is an almighty flaw in itsel. How can one judge an entire group by the variations within it. Blood runs same colour, love's based on same or similar heartbeat.. Think good Samaritan..

Your words are so powerful and worthy, Donna. You've taken a more than complex susbject and outed it for what it is : heartless and ignorant prejudice. Your post should be the planet's headline news day in, day out.. printed across space.. Time to salute Life and Civilisation Whoever, Whaever. Thank you for your words.. they mean more than most. x

Hatred or hate is a deep and extreme emotional dislike, especially invoking feelings of anger or resentment. It can be directed against individuals, groups, entities, objects, behaviours, or ideas. This is a centuries old mindset (Cain got very jealous of Abel; his hate led to his fall from grace). Your write highlights a plea for a breaking and binding of this negative outlook towards others – and – to embrace cordial relationships with our fellow humans! Bless … :-)

These are good sentiments that should be kept in mind. Unfortunately we are still in the cycle of evolution where we think we need to divide into tribes.

Its really to bad! I appreciate your review John.
Although I was only a toddler in the 60"s, I'm sure they were saying the same thing among the turmoil taking place all around. In fact, I'm sure your feelings (of which I agree totally) have been shared many times before throughout our history. Problem is, no one person or group has ever been the ones to make it happen, and that's a shame.
