A Letter

This is about parents that sexually abuse their children! This is just my opinion!!!!

You have a beautiful child.

What is going through your mind?

How could you think this is ok?

You must have been abused as a child.

Does that make it ok for you to do it?

Why would you want to touch your own child?

It is YOUR own child.

A very innocent child.

Do you really think this is a normal thing to do?

Do you think it wont effect them?

Or do you not even think about that?

A child is the most precious gift.

You should NOT even think of your child in that sick way.

If you do, then you really need some help.

To bad you wont get it.

To bad you wont stop till your caught.

I hope you do get caught.

Then you can spend your life in prison.

You will wish you were dead after the inmates find out why

you are there!

I see a lot of stories and poems on here about this, It is so awful that anyone has to go through something like this. I cant imagine a child having to grow up like that and how it affects them when they are grown up. Your parents are supposed to be your safety.
I know it is easy for me to say this, since I have never experienced it, but please tell. If this is happening to you now.
These are just my opinions, I don't want any BS on here. I am just concerned for people. Thank you.

I can't really imagine that these days parents are abusing their child whether it be physically or mentally. Abuse is abuse. It's really the worst thing I have ever heard. The whole world should stand up against it. Protest about it and maybe someday it will stop. Your poem is really powerful. Keep going! Fondly, Debbie

actually my friend this has been my advocacy for seven years or so now.. in my country incest and child abuse are two of the most alarming issues that is the reason why a lot of times i am in the crossroad because i am always at the crossfire between the abuser and the victim, children's rights here has always been neglected and thanks for this piece it had added strength and inspiration to go on with what i am fighting for though sometimes it has been too hard and painful lately

Powerful write. I could truly feel every single line. The question still hooks up the mind that How Could? How could one even think of doing this. True that this World has beautiful flowers grown but they're not meant to be plucked. Specially with hard hands.The same is with every single child, woman, man and every human indeed!
