The title confused me a little. Throes are the end of something - yet the end of skepticism implies the beginning of non-skepticism or belief so belief begins in ...the end of trust...?
That aside I thought the wordsmithing of the main was on point and clever Doodley.

You're welcome--short review for a short poem. :)
Not sure if her "high strungedness" somehow caused him to be "strung highly."
Whatever the case, he certainly got the worse deal.
Smart word play!

Not only strung but stung. Nothing quite like the sting of being stabbed in the back huh. Compact little one this and as always, en pointe. Vive la revolution.

Done? Oops. Thought they were in progress still. The revolution's spies were misinformed it seems.
Your poetic domain never ceases to amaze me, whether it be a scientific ballad, or a tightly wound Senryu... (A form I favor HIGHLY over Haiku)... So much said within such little... Once unraveled... It is an entire world of thought...

Sadly now, everything is played to the public.
In saying that. The public love gossip.
It's when couples really go beyond the point of no return. Sadly the days of diplomacy are over.
