Prisoner Of Night

Prisoner Of Night

A Poem by DookieSmiles
"

I have trouble sleeping. Minds full of thoughts. It's a curse. Feels

"
Dreamless, can't close eyes
Sleepless, waiting for sun rise
Mindful I'm never truly alert
Dimness constantly shadows me eternally
The silent reality of an introvert
So sleep, as I wage war internally
Quiet of the night, absentminded trance
6am tourturing myself as the hands dance
Darkness I lye in your arms, always their
Sun rising
eyelids drooping
Until next time my love affaire

Very nicely done! (-: Kind of reminds me about what I deal with at night as well, aha.
