My Own Agony

My Own Agony

A Poem by DookieSmiles
"

When we first met she had a lot going on as did I. Hers was more finical mine was more substance but she ended up getting dragged into the substance with me. Eventually going our separate ways.

"
She's battling a duel with an imperceptible foe.
I couldn't spare you for I had my own evil presences.
I aggravated it and cut you further down.
I knew I didn't have the ability to love and keep you around.

She was in a better situation without me.
I'm a torment and poisonous that plagues her.
I stole her yang and left her with yin.
I carried her with me into a hazardous relationship.

Presently I understand my idiocy of my own agony I didn't see hers.
She sacrificed her self to attempt to save me.
She wore a blanket of flowers, finally coming to her senses.
She has turned the page to another chapter.

I Still watch over you, thankful for all that you've done.
treasure the great times we had for that is the thing that I adore.
