Loving You

 

I hold my heart

for you my dear.

For sunny skies,

clouds, or clear.

 

I smile even in sadness,

For you’re so kind.

Just to make you happy,

Because you are mine.

 

I await to see you,

The joyous part of day!

Lonely without,

When you cannot stay.

The precious kisses, hugs I feel.

I  pinch myself,

are these moments real?

 

I think of you

to keep tears from my eyes.

You make me so happy,

calm my cries.

 

I need you more,

than I ever could tell.

My angel, My baby, My wishes you well…

 

Tenderness, such passion!

You’re my dream come true!

Nothing could do,

but my love, of loving you.

I wrote this 16 years ago for my husband.. It's simple, true, and maybe a bit cheesy', but the sweet, good-happy, love always is...
