Rebirth...again!

Rebirth...again!

A Poem by Gary Alexander Azerier
"

Ever wonder where we are from? Where we are bound? Here, in all modesty is the answer!

"

I am old.

Old as the Sun and Magellanic Clouds;

Shrouds of lingering gas

From a thousand year old supernova

Mourning the loss of that once great fiery giant.

I have known white hot reds,

Blue cold ice

And a millenium slice

Of hush, still, dark

Black, bereft of time.

For I am as old as...always.

I've soared on photons

Through countless realms of eons,

Back and see-saw forth

Through time and tachyons.

And I am as young as...never.

Yet to max and minimize,

Transform and metamorphosize,

And if I must, join clouds and dust

(Awaiting ultraviolet soul)

Or, hell!

Just start my own black hole!

Your words are.... magnetic magic. Don't you just love those Hubble photographs? Thanks. I look forward to more of your writing.

This is astronomy with a mighty touch and it comes out sparkling! Beautiful images take me away and suddenly I'm seeing a supernova and beyond with your words. A wonderful poem!

An invigorating dance with nature and the cosmos...I enjoyed this thoroughly, was like a walk in the park and a candid conversation with God :)
