Stupid Word

You stand there in the hall

with so many friends to make you laugh

even when I'm standing there

and you know what you did to me.

That one five minute call

and that simple, single word

That I now hate.

I stand here crushed

and you seem to not notice.

But I guess thats just you.

Now I make myself say

that stupid word.

Goodbye.
