I really like this one Justin.
It has the lyrical feel and quality of the terrific 1980's songwriter Edwyn Collins (Never Met a Girl Like You Before - see below)
he used words like 'allegorically' and 'metaphorically' in his lyrics which seem like anathema to pop lyrics but damn, he made us sit up and take notice.
You reminded me of him here. Class piece of writing here.
