And God said, Let Them Be LitA Poem by CerebriationA reprise of Heaven Sin
Standing at the pearly gates
Whiskey jar in hand Joint tucked neat behind my ear I'm sure he'll understand Just a little tipsy A bit inebriated Goes to show that as a ghost The vices never faded Please, my lord, allow me in I'll pour you up a drink I'll pass around what I've prepared Hear what the angels think I swear that I'll moderate I swear we won't abuse it But, it may get somewhat loud We can't forego the music I hope that's not a problem We both know you've got musicians I've just got to hear them play Please read the little list I've written Petty, Moon, and Morrison Weiland, Cornell, Lemmy Joplin, Lennon, Jones, and Bonham Nowell, Burton, Jimi Haggard, Jennings, Cash, and Hank Allman, Russell, Frey Croce, Marley, Harrison B.B., Buddy, Gaye Bowie, Prince, and Michael Jackson Zappa, Vaughan, Garcia Dio, Rhoads, Dimebag Darrell Big, Tupac, Aaliyah Winehouse, Houston, Redding Elvis and Sinatra Mama Cass and Mercury Y'all if I forgot ya This list could go on and on Possibly forever But time is of the essence Let's get on with this endeavor That is, of course, if you'll approve If not, I'll understand But if so, let's go! Bust a move! I must hear Heaven's band!
