Mother Nature

Mother Nature

A Poem by Drew Peterson
"

we all see the beauty of nature from looking at a flower or seeing wild life play

"

Sitting here against that sappy pine tree

Looking into the deep thick woodsy area

Falling pine needles come from

Above hitting my face

Sticking to me like super glue would do.

Peeling the sweet smell of pine from my face

As I’m

Watching the wolves playing in the damp creek

Seeing the dears race threw the green fields of the

Country side

As the seasons move forward to bring a new change of life

Walking through the woods watching the leafs change colors slowly in front of our eyes.

seeing the gentle snow hits the bare tops

of trees all around me.

the seasons past through us as we all don’t notice

as much

we call her mother nature.

Oh this brings memories to me, very nice write. I love it, especially the beginning which reminded me of a memory. You do really well at poems for capturing nature.
