It’s been so long since I have seen your face.

So much has happened dear, but there’s so little to say,

but I thank you anyway.

It’s been so long, think I’ll surrender.

It’s been so long without you.

 

Feel like I’m falling into a void,

all of the times I try to avoid.

But I’m here again,

Reminds me of when I came out of a deep dark place

Keep practicing, you have a way of capturing simplicity,
but try to avoid cliches
because people have heard the opening a million times before.
And what's wrong with that? Well,
it stopped me personally from reading the rest.
writer a shorter- more original poem, use your own ideas, something
that has never been heard before, if you revise this,
or take the idea or write a new- better poem based on the idea, let me know
