The World My Interstate

The World My Interstate

A Poem by Breezie Kae

I need to rethink my priorities;

it’s so easy to get caught up in

the crazy every-day.

But I have dreams

and my greatest fear

is losing them along the way.

I can see it now, the life I want to lead;

the world my interstate,

and my words in the sky.

I want to be remembered for words,

and I want to leave a song in someone’s head;

I want a crowd to sing my own words.

I want words to be my place in this world.

Words have more power than people think, I like how you portray that.

I love your last line.
Words can hurt so in order to keep yoru last line real
We need to watch what we say. This is powerful.
