I Will...I Won't...

I Will...I Won't...

A Poem by DuffyDreamer

"When gravity takes charge for me.

When I feel the red tickle my skin.

And the bitter cold washes down on me.

I’ll think of you until I’m gone, till I fade away.

As I lay out and wait for the rising heat.

I lay face down to try and breathe in.

With my lungs all full a tear will slip out.

I’ll think of you, my heart will swell and I’ll drown.

You call for me.

I’m on my knees.

It’s all crumbling.

And you think there’s hope for me.

I don’t know why I feel this way.

It cuddles me like a mocking foe.

I want to cry but I’m stuck.

I don’t know if I will or if I won’t.

Waking up, no I’m still numb.

It’s been two days since I let go.

My body moves and I feel all the pain.

All the tightness and the blood, the scars…"
