Time

This is one way I believe time could be viewed

Time

Cold it watches as the world turns, unbiased to all that stand before it. Together it stands with Quietus listening to evensongs, watching requiems, and welcoming all to the cradle. Never-ending it stands neither living nor dead, on the edge of forever, and never. Neither lost nor found, treasured as gold it walks master of all, but one. Content it waits alongside Jah as it walks on, and on the path of eternity. It finds itself in plenty, but limited supply. A curse to all who have known it, and prized to all who have known life without it. Still it remains, everlasting, and evanescent halting for no one. Measurable only by infinity, boundlessly confined between reality, and fantasy. Slow and steady it passes, but gone in a blink of eye it flies on the wings of the dove. As it passes it sings the resonating song of Sirens bringing closer all who disregarded it to a cessation. Abiding it watches as the world consumes itself, while it walks closer to its perpetual curtain. Mounted upon a throne of undefined fate, constantly undulating as it travels on an endlessly confined path. Ardent it watches as the world turns, myopic, and capricious to all who bow before it.

A very clever treatment of time's paradoxes through personification. I like "boundlessly confined between reality, and fantasy". Although at small soft points it's underexplained, over-all this piece is strong and well done. You treat an elusive topic very well and some lines just glitter with brilliance.

A very philosophical stab at a perennial topic, not many venture to describe something so fleeting and something so unanimously present and intrinsic to our existence.

It had an epic deep feel to it, well done.
