Not Waving

Not Waving

A Poem by Duncan Brown

Narcissus loved in his mirror
Because it never let him down
Such a beautifully trusting lover
Made his eyes seem quite darker
And he never ever looked better
That's as good as his going got
'Me an' my mirror, don’t ya just love it?'
That's what the mirror said when he lost it.
