Chryme Scene Investigation

Chryme Scene Investigation

A Poem by Duncan Brown
"

Clue is in da name.

"

Picasso knew all about the blue

While Dylan howled the azures

Like a harlequin and the thief

Casing a joint on the inside out

From the singular to the plurality

Synthesing art’s fluent musicality

Guernica sounds like a harmonica

Howlin’ Damoiselle’s Avignon

Cubing the Pabloist symphony

Whilst mysteriously trampling

The mystifying shape of colour

An’ circling the squared symmetry

Enlightening shape with poetry

Dividing the same by difference

Raging against the average mean

An’ the mathematics of the sound

Colouring the calculus with genius.
