Soul Song

Souls seeking, reaching, howling into the night.
Aching to find the missing piece to make it right.
Tripping, stumbling, cozily along,
Still missing the lyrics to their own song.

Melody tinkles, ears perk to the sound.
Could the lyrics finally be found?
Surrounded by goldens, greens and blues,
Hearing the song returned in brilliant hues.

Reaching into the depths, fighting the fear...
Only from each other the harmony they can hear.
Music steady on, though mountains are steep,
Strong together, their love they will keep.
