DawnA Poem by getinthecarpleasePrelude to madness, catch delusions and promenade to the sunrise. Morass in moonlight, contour emotions and return of the twilight child. Do you know the blades? Do you know her warmth? Good fellow dawn signs a smile in his crown of hawthorn weeds, he’s seated among the bile. Do you know the light? Do you know her wall? Cemetery of words yet epitaph unknown Triumphant warrior, his hubris has grown. Scents, tastes, sounds, sights; feelings in the cold. She resides in the mirror, the guardian of fear Stab the crescent palate, cascades of tears, she has fled. © 2019 getinthecarpleaseFeatured Review
