QuiltsA Poem by getinthecarpleaseSun silver cygnet sail Passing dreams by in vacant facets Shine wreaths of journal words Come the frozen peaks of visions They sought by the misery and torment of the silent waters flowing To the summit of our grave Silk worn by the epitaphs of mankind In utopia manifesto In mirrors Soul signs reap the warmth Of canes and sages watching through me Bright laurels crown their head In a mirage of ages passing windows They wrought on the papyrus of the ancients with sorrowful dirges To summon the young knave Shadows worn by the hall of nomads In democratic gowns In mirrors The flight of the swans reach the marathon A floral etude from sepia Aragon The quadratic fades in a garden of the gods Chambers weeping the carillon chorus Charging the senses as springtime Taurus The circle is stained with visions insane Refrain from the crystal game As the mirror cracks and poets cry The seeping dream will not die Crimson marble and cerulean eye Floating in the glare of the twilight sky The constellations cease to fly Rivers run in shame Carry the flock of pale wings Angels gaze of doubt A lament for reflections of the rain Come the melting mountains of dreams They sing for the willows wallowing in zephyrs flowing To the void of our names Epitaphs worn by the graves of man In the gaze of gallant stupors In mirrors
